My peppers are doing pretty great but, as you can see, I've got aphids. I pickrd and flushed that pepper, and rinsed off the leaves and branched of the manageable sized plants, but what do you suggest I do to manage this problem as best as possible.
I have ordered sticky traps.
I considered making an insecticidal soap, but I thought I'd ask this community first.
Any recommendations are appreciated.

One time spay of this would take care of anything! I spoke to the chemical engineer for the company that made this and he said if you used it when there are pods after a few days it would be ok to wash and eat the pods. I goes inert in a few days. So for a non fruiting plant it’s fine to use. I’ve been using it for over a year when needed.

You’re supposed to either trim them all the way back or spray and let them flourish. Looks like you did something in between….
Pyrethrum based solution is what I would use.

I generally don’t want my overwintering peppers to fruit–but I do the benign neglect theory of maintenance, and you’ve got a different set up, so… YMMV. But since you CAN rinse them, I’d do that, and then my preferences is ladybugs at this point. I get mine form Nature’s Good Guys, and yes, I release them in the house 😀 I will do ladybugs and I will do predatory mites inside…i have not tried lacewings in the house. But the ladybugs generally stay where you put them if they have food.
You can spray with diluted bleach water just be sure you clean the bottle out. Real good because the bleach will eat the rubber gaskets in there that cause the thing to spray
