How hot would yall say this is, I wanted something extreme but I’ve never had the brand
I was also curious how its heat compared to da bomb, im sure this tastes better but I eat da bomb regularly to try and build my tolerance

With 5 being hot. would say 7/10 for normies and 4/10 for pepper heads. It’s less than the da Bomb and I use it as an everyday driver. Has heat but it’s pleasant and very manageable.

This is a daily driver for people who have decent tolerance. I still have to use small dabs with sauces like garlic reaper and Tabasco scorpion, but I can be pretty generous with Melinda’s ghost pepper. I use it like normies use franks or cholula.

This one is mild-hot. The hottest a mild sauce will be.
For some kick and taste. Try Tabasco Scorpion. Great taste and hot. Doesn’t have that vinegary taste original Tabasco does.

If you’re into hot sauce, it’s not hot, just warm.
It’s far, far milder than tabasco scorpion, which is the line I use to delineate hot.
If you look at the ingredient label, you’ll note the first ingredient is ghost pepper MASH…. which itself has a first ingredient of water. It likely has very little actual ghost pepper in it.
Tabasco scorpion has a first ingredient of straight scorpion pepper.

if you want extreme and tasty you should try reaper evil from torchbearer. also for super hot just pepper flavor look at puckerbutt pepper co with their reaper squeezins, gator, or chocolate plague sauces. puckerbutt regularly has sales as well if you want to wait for some of those

My line for “extreme” starts with Tabasco Scorpion and goes up from there. You can start looking into the Torchbearer brand for some hotter options too.
If you really want to start with Melinda’s go with their Red Savina. It’s definitely spicier than the Ghost Pepper, still under Tabasco Scorpion for me.

Melinda’s is great stuff. I have this one and I’m finding vehicles for this even when not hungry lol. Heat is decent, but more importantly, the flavor is so tasty.

Get the ghost pepper wing sauce instead, it’s way better imo. One of my favourite main stream sauces. It’s spicy but nothing unbearable. I think it sort of meets that perfect heat level of having some kick, without burning your face off and only being able to eat a little.

I would say this is entry level for people diving deep into spice. Neither too dull or too spicy, but it is definitely a tad bit more spicy than it isn’t if that makes sense.
I would compare it to eating the spicier end of jalapeños. Its presence will be known, but it doesn’t stay around.
