This was a few years back. Came in and noticed there was a dent in one of the ovens and then when I looked inside all of the stones were broken. Checked the cameras and saw these clown. Didn’t even leave a note!

You had to post this the day before my hoods are getting cleaned.
Not even a note. Lol. People are strange.
Easy send the company owner the bill. If they dont pay lawyer up.
We got one new oven and 4 stones covered by their insurance so overall not a horrible deal in the long run.
About to find out if someone is licensed and bonded.

As u/FabioK9 said – bill and contact your lawyer ahead of time. But you got the video so there isn’t much the cleaning outfit can argue.

When you told the company that you saw the footage, did they take own up right away?
SHEEEESH. We’re lucky all our guys have to do is pull out some flat tops. This is a brutal bill on their end.

I’m almost positive that’s a plastic tarp as well. And I’m pretty sure they’re supposed to use canvas type covers.
Did they break the Ansel system too?
Our cleaners one time broke plug to a fridge, so they stripped the wires and put them in the socket. They didn’t tell us and it wasn’t until we moved the fridge the next night to clean behind we noticed.
He lifted with his back, not his legs. tragic.
Years ago, the owner got a call at 3am saying “something went wrong” cleaning the hoods.
That something was them PULLING THE HOOD OFF THE MOUNT AND CRUSHING SOME EQUIPMENT.
The cleaning company stepped up and paid for the repair cost and some replacement costs, but we were out 2 days if business while getting the hood re-hung
Thankfully the worst mine did this time around was completely ignore the baffles and left them filthy and filled with grease.
So now they’re coming back out to finish the job and I’m getting 25% off the next as an apology for their incompetence.
