Nice!
This looks like what Southerns call ‘Chess’ or ‘Buttermilk’ pie. Chess pie is butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla (mostly). It’s been so long I’d have to look up the real recipe. Buttermilk pie is Chess with buttermilk (which I used to hate but the pie was lovely). I did not think I’d ever have anything like this again that tasted good! Thank you so very much!
