the old stalwart of LA BBQ. has kind of a diner vibe to it. ribs are their specialty so I got a platter with a spare rib, a beef rib, and two baby back ribs. the baby backs (pic 4) were dry, and the beef rib (pic 3) tough and gristly, but the spare rib was actually really notably good. good flavor, nice and tender, good rub that didn't need a ton of sauce in addition. I'd definitely come back but just for spare ribs. the sides were just ok – garlic bread wasn't very garlicky, and the beans are essentially similar to a can of Heinz Baked Beans. but the spare ribs and that sauce, those I can endorse.
