We know the Vertuo line for making an airy, wispy foam when it comes to the bigger mug sizes, and i find it rarther unappetizing. I tend to stir it until the texture appears somewhat consistant.
But when it comes to intense espressos, it comes up with a really velvety, smooth and dense foam. I would even go as far as saying it's almost like crema.
My favorite pod for this is the Altisso. It's like magic with how dense the foam is! But obtaining foam this velvety doesn't happen with all espresso pods. The Voltesso has a bit more air – but still consistent and regains some denseness around the edges when swirled like a fine wine.
What do you people think of Vertuo foam? Are there any pods that produce similar results to the Altisso? Let me know your thoughts.

Nice bit of fake crema there 👍
the foam looks so nice like “hey there how you doin ” unlike the normal unholy amount of foam thats like “tf you lookin at”
Originally the foam from my vertuo Next was pretty crappy but I’ve noticed a significant improvement with the software updates. Now I consistently get good quality foam
I mostly drink espressos and DEs. I like the microfoam, it has extra flavor that I first take a sip from, then stir it in. Foam on coffees is kinda strange but still pleasing to the eye (and palate). I refill my own coffees (and some DEs). My Pop+ has never produced so much foam as I see posted on this sub.
Foam from Vertuo is not real
I’ve always had pretty decent foam tbh, it only starts to look bad if I made a cup and walked away for 5 mins
