Spain, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, and other renowned destinations will shine at FINE 2026 in Valladolid, offering wine enthusiasts and cultural travelers the opportunity to explore unique wine routes, top-tier wineries, and rich cultural traditions. These countries, known for their historic winemaking legacies, offer a perfect fusion of gastronomy, history, and nature, aligning with the growing demand for immersive travel experiences. At FINE 2026, visitors will uncover the strong ties between fine wines and local culture, making this year’s event a must-attend for anyone seeking exceptional wines and cultural depth.

FINE, the esteemed International Wine Tourism Fair, returns for its seventh edition on March 3 and 4, 2026, in the lively city of Valladolid. The event will bring together wine tourism professionals from across Europe, Asia, and America, offering a wide array of attractions, including wineries, hotels, wine routes, tour operators, and specialized agencies, further boosting the global appeal of wine tourism.

At the presentation of FINE at Fitur, the managing director of Feria de Valladolid, Alberto Alonso, referred to the collaboration of institutions, companies and professional organisations “that share a commitment to wine tourism and to making us visible on the international market as a first-class destination. Turespaña, the Regional Government of Castile and León, Valladolid City Council, the Spanish Wine Federation, the Confederation of Travel Agencies, Abadía Retuerta, Protos, Dehesa de los Canónigos, Ferrer Wines and Bodegas Alvear are our partners in this exciting project”.

“FINE is an international business platform for wine tourism professionals, a country event that helps strengthen our position in the global market. The results of the six editions held in Valladolid and the Italian premiere that took place in autumn in Riva del Garda endorse the suitability and validity of the model, which was a pioneer in its commitment to the sector,” added Alonso.

Among the new features of this year’s event is the incorporation of olive oil tourism into the offering, a product in development that “complements and reinforces wine tourism, a model capable of bringing together allies such as gastronomy, history, culture and nature.”

This year, FINE introduces an exciting new element to the wine tourism experience: olive oil tourism. As an emerging sector, olive oil tourism perfectly complements wine tourism, offering visitors a chance to delve into the rich connections between gastronomy, culture, history, and nature. This addition underscores the synergy between the two, enhancing the overall experience for wine enthusiasts and broadening the appeal of both sectors.

Global Representation and Local Specialties

FINE continues to stay at the cutting edge of wine tourism, offering a range of experiences from some of the most iconic wine regions in Europe and beyond. Participating countries include Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain, with new regions such as Ribeira Sacra and Campo de Cariñena making their debut. Prominent wineries like Masaveu, Palacio de Canedo, Pago de los Capellanes, and Pago Altolandón will join well-known wine destinations from Catalonia, the Valencian Community, the Basque Country, Canary Islands, Madrid, Navarre, La Rioja, and, of course, Castile and León.

As for demand representation, tour operators and agencies from Canada, the United States, Mexico, northern European countries, Brazil, Thailand, Italy, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Poland and Turkey, among others, have confirmed their participation. “Once again, we have met the challenge of renewing the work agenda and, to date, more than 50 buyers will be attending our contracting market for the first time, where more than 2,200 job interviews will take place,” explained Alonso.

“The diversity of wine tourism is present at FINE through wineries and routes with different profiles and target audiences, just as the demands of tour operators are diverse, with interest in business tourism and incentives as well as holiday packages and luxury programmes, to mention just three examples.”

Diverse Offerings for Every Type of Wine Tourist

At FINE, the diversity of wine tourism is evident, with wineries and wine routes designed to appeal to a wide range of tastes and interests. From business tourism and incentive travel to luxury packages and holiday getaways, FINE caters to all types of wine tourists. This year’s edition promises an even greater variety of programmes, ensuring that tour operators and visitors alike will find something that suits their needs.

The fair also aims to attract travel agencies that wish to incorporate wine-related experiences into their existing tourism offerings, broadening the scope of what is available to their clients.
