Some nights, dinner needs to be quick without feeling like a compromise. During the colder months, that often means reaching for something warm and comforting, and pasta fits the bill.
Rana’s new Marry Me Pasta Meal Kit does exactly that, bringing a full meal together in just minutes. The 40-ounce kit includes wide pappardelle pasta with grilled white-meat chicken, tomatoes, and a rich, creamy sauce, and it’s priced at $12.99 at Costco.
You can see how it comes together in a January 25 Instagram shared by @discovering_costco.
What sets this kit apart is how little effort it takes. Everything needed for the meal is included. The pasta is pre-cooked, the sauce and chicken are portioned and ready, and even a microwave-safe bowl is provided. Once everything is combined, it’s simply a matter of heating and serving.

As @discovering_costco pointed out, the sauce leans rich, which fits the popular “Marry Me” style of creamy pasta dishes that have been trending online. It’s a meal that works especially well on busy nights when standing over the stove isn’t appealing.
Some shoppers were already eager to give it a try. One viewer commented, ‘My husband and I love Rana pasta. They are all delicious.’ Another added, ‘I bought it. Can’t wait to try it.’
How “Marry Me” Chicken Got Its Name
The phrase “Marry Me” chicken comes from a viral recipeDelish created in 2016, when the team was developing saucy skillet dinners meant to get people excited about cooking. According to Delish, the dish started as a variation on their popular Tuscan Chicken Pasta, using similar ingredients but with an even more decadent sauce. During a video shoot, a crew member tasted the finished dish and declared, ‘I’d marry you for that chicken!’ and the name stuck. Since then, “Marry Me” chicken has been used to describe creamy, comfort-forward pasta and chicken dishes that are all about rich flavor, not romance.

For shoppers who already rely on Costco’s refrigerated meals during busy weeks, this kit fits easily into that routine. It doesn’t require much planning and works just as well on its own as it does alongside a simple salad or a slice of toasted bread. With a portion size that works well for sharing or leftovers, it’s easy to keep on hand for busy evenings.
On nights when cooking from scratch just isn’t happening, having something like this in the fridge can keep dinner from turning into a bowl of cereal. It’s a simple way to end the day with something warm and filling, without much effort at all.
