I spent some time really going through all the RW menus. Shoutout to those who already threw their hats in the ring this year. However, I found I wanted something similar to previous years, that had all the available data, and that looked at maximum savings, not just averages so I took a crack at it.

This guide is all about maximizing your estimated savings and finding the absolute best deals.
I put everything into a master sheet (link below!), but here are the key takeaways and the restaurants that are giving you the most bang for your buck.

If you skip ahead to the spreadsheet, I recommend filtering by rank, which I have set up for each dining option and ranks on most possible money saved.

First to point out a couple of hidden gems:

Some menus don't initially present as good but you find some steals in there.

  • City Cruises Chicago(Streeterville): Estimated Savings $66 but that includes the boat ticket that would normally cost $80-$140 more depending on the day you book. Similarly, Teatro Zinzanni (Loop) has their show ticket also included in their $60 dinner.
  • Honey Butter Fried Chicken and TriBecca's Sandwich(Both in Avondale) have their $45 as serving 2 people instead of 1.

The Top Tier: $60 Dinner Deals
The $60 dinner menu is where the most significant savings are. Based on my analysis, these spots offer the highest estimated value compared to their regular pricing.

  • #1 Esmé (Lincoln Park): Estimated Savings $81Note: Set menu and desserts are an additional $12—make sure to factor that in!
  • #2 Lena Brava (West Loop): Estimated Savings $76Note: Fantastic deal if you go for the meat platter (listed at $90 normally).
  • #3 Brasero (West Town): Estimated Savings $73Note: Wagyu Picanha is $84 by itself, making this a huge win.
  • #4 Petterino’s (Loop): Estimated Savings $71Note: Solid savings, includes a Vegetarian option.
  • #5 Nia (West Loop): Estimated Savings $70Note: 8-course tasting menu—plus optional wine pairings/bottomless sangria for an extra $30/p.

Happy RW everyone and I hope this helps you select what is right for you!

EDIT…Some users have requested a link to provide a monetary tip. Please know that this guide was created simply to help the community and payment is absolutely not expected. However, for those who have asked and wish to do so, my Venmo is Kayla-Melton-2. I hope you all enjoy your meals during Restaurant Week.
