Kaisendon (topped with lots of negotoro!!) and anago nigiri. Dinner last night after arriving at our hotel in Tokyo. Super exhausted after our flight and decided to just use Ubereats instead of going out for food.

    I hope I am able to visit Tokyo this year. I’ve always wanted to see it, having grown up with it being described as one of the world’s great cities. That octopus tentacle looks mad delish btw!

    Whoa that anago – nigiri? – is nuts. Is that just one big honkin’ piece of anago placed over a few shari? And do you eat it like a chirashi or like break it into a few pieces so it’s more like normal nigiri? Looks amazing.
