Custom cut 22oz with loaded baked potato. I never eat at steakhouses because I believe I make a better steak than almost any steakhouse. My wife wanted rolls from Texas Roadhouse and I had to get some prime since there are not enough beef eaters in my house to justify me making prime rib. it was great, cooked just right.

Texas Roadhouse prime rib stays underrated

Missing that creamy horseradish and hopefully the other side was a Caesar salad!

Texas Roadhouse is my goto chain steak restaurant, every single time.

The TR where I live is relatively new (less than 2 years). Reports say they’ve done gangbusters business, which I think is terrific as the franchise owners I think are a young (30’s) couple. Good for them. Also seems TR’s corporate support is solid as well.

TR quality and price are a goated duo, when it’s my bday I go specifically for the prime rib

You simply can’t beat the value proposition for Texas Roadhouse.

They used to have a French dip sandwich on the menu made from the prime rib. It started as a secret menu item that the FOH staff would order. That was my go to on Sundays

I’m in a similar situation. My wife doesn’t eat steak at all, and while I’m fine treating myself to a nice steak at home I’m not going to prepare a goddamn prime rib for myself.

So Texas Roadhouse = prime rib night.

  10. Does anyone else think the seasoning they use on their prime rib makes the steak tastes like a Slim Jim? Flavorwise.

Truly can’t beat it. $25 for a slab of prime rib, two sides, and unlimited bread?

And the one closest to my house serves it all 7 days of the week 🥰

I prefer more rare, could be the pic. Agree with OP about ordering steak. I make it better at home too. I order Prime Rib out (TRH is reliable) because I can’t just make one or two servings at home.

I’ve had bit or miss on their prime rib. When it’s done the right way, it’s hard to beat.

It must just be me, but this doesn’t look appetizing at all.

Damn what specifically did you order OP?  When I order a 16 oz prime rib half of it is fat.  This shit looks spectacular.

I too would like a perfectly trimmed 22 oz cut.  Tell me what to order

Best bang for the buck prime rib. At that price point, nothing comes close.
