Had this at a big work dinner the other night. Drank some
Willamette Pinot before this. Did a very quick decant and that was enough. The most intense, phenomenal nose on a Ribera wine that I’ve had in a while. Perfectly balanced, ready to go and clearly meant to enjoy young. Tannins in check, med to big body without feeling slushy and not a ton of wood. This is one of those “wow” wines without needing to wait 20 years.
