CLEVELAND, Ohio — As this frigid and frosty January comes to a close, it means that the most romantic holiday of the year, Valentine’s Day, is right on the horizon.
Greater Cleveland venues have plenty of special events that will set the mood for love. This year’s events cater to an wide-ranging audience – from those looking for a romantic date night to a Galentine’s Day night out.
Aside from typical dinner specials, celebrations include Galentine’s craft events, anti-Valentine’s Day dance parties and pop-up bars. Check out more than 20 different ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day or just the season of love in Greater Cleveland.
That’s Amore at Amici
13000 Royalton Road, North Royalton
Amici Restaurant and Bar brought back its That’s Amore Valentine’s Day pop-up for 2026. Amici doesn’t cut any corners, plastering its space from floor to ceiling with pink, hearts and lovely vibes. A specialty drink menu is available in the 21+ bar, which hosts trivia, karaoke, DJ nights and more.
Self Love Day at La Cave du Vin
710 Jefferson Ave., Cleveland
La Cave du Vin and the Self Love Club is hosting an evening focused on self-care, kicking off at 6 p.m. on Feb. 16. Live poetry, an all-vinyl set from DJ Red-I, a special menu and more activities are planned for the low-key evening. The event is open to the public and tickets aren’t required.
Malley’s Chocolates
18 locations in Northeast Ohio
Malley’s chocolate-covered strawberries and grapes are a Greater Cleveland holiday tradition, with Valentine’s Day being one of the biggest. Malley’s will offer the special treats in stores on Feb. 13 and 14.
Cleveland Botanical Garden events
11030 East Blvd., Cleveland
The Cleveland Botanical Garden has a stacked weekend of events to celebrate Valentine’s Day, including its upcoming Orchid Rodeo exhibit. A Galentine’s Day celebration is set for 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 13 that includes after-hours access, Galentine’s crafts, live music, food and drink specials and beyond. Tickets start at $20.
Then, at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 14, Cleveland Botanical Garden is For Lovers kicks off as the official Valentine’s Day celebration. The $20 ticket includes after-hours access, a craft, live music, photo ops and more.
Finally, at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, the garden will host its Steeped in Love: ChocolaTea Tasting event. Coffee and tea tastings with chocolate pairings set the mood with the garden as a backdrop. Tickets start at $55.
Cupid’s Corner at Re:Bar
1400 W. 25th St., Cleveland
Re:Bar Cleveland closed its doors downtown but recently started hosting pop-up bars in the former Ohio City Galley space. For Valentine’s Day, Re:Bar will open Cupid’s Corner for four nights in February, featuring craft cocktails and special events. The bar will be open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Feb. 6, 7, 13 and 14.
Cleveland Valentine Bazaar at 78th Street Studios
1300 W. 78th St., Cleveland
Cleveland Bazaar is bringing back its annual Valentine’s Day show to 78th Street studios during the holiday weekend. Resident and visiting artists will sell a variety of handmade and specialty goods and gifts. Photo booths, tarot readings, hand spa treatments and food trucks are a part of the fun. The Bazaar is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Feb. 13 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Feb. 14.
Valentine’s Day at CLE Urban Winery
2180 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights
Cle Urban Winery is offering a special wine tasting and food pairing experience from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Feb. 14 for Valentine’s, Galentine’s or solo celebrations. The $25 advance ticket includes the special tasting and a Valentine’s Day treat. Attendees can come anytime during the opening window to sip wine and enjoy the VDay vibes.
Dueling Piano date night at The Elliot
1415 Kenilworth Ave., Cleveland
The Rosehip Room at The Elliot is opening its doors for a Valentine’s Day date night at 8 p.m. on Feb. 13. The private speakeasy will be featuring the Cleveland Keys Dueling Pianos for an all-request performance alongside cocktail specials. Tickets start at $25.
Leather and Lace Valentine’s Party at Twist Social Club
11633 Clifton Blvd., Cleveland
Twist is turning up the heat on Valentine’s Day with a Leather and Lace party starting at 10 p.m. on Feb. 14. The LGBTQ+ bar will host an all-night dance party, with guests encouraged to dress up in leather or lace to fit the mood. Tickets are not required for the 21+ party.
Galentine’s Coffee and Chocolate Cocktail Pop-Up at Westsiders
19880 Detroit Road, Rocky River
Westsiders is doing an impromptu Galentine’s Day party centered around coffee and chocolate, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Feb. 11. Dessert cocktails and sweet treats like affogato, cheesecake and espresso martinis make up the menu. Plus, permanent jewelry for forever friendship bracelets will also be available during the event.
Love is in the Air: Romantic Movies in Concert
The Cinematic Symphony Orchestra will perform Love is in the Air: Romantic Movies in Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the Maltz Performing Arts Center. The full orchestra and choir will perform some of the most iconic music from romantic films like “Casablanca,” “Titanic,” “Beauty and the Beast” and more. Tickets start at $15.
Sapphic Soiree at Jukebox
1404 W. 29th St., Cleveland
Sapphic Soiree, a monthly queer/woman-forward dance party, is taking over Jukebox for a special Valentine’s Day event. Aside from the usual dance party, speed dating and love games will be set up on the patio. The event kicks off at 10 p.m. on Feb. 14 and is $8 at the door.
Valentine’s Day-themed events at Mahall’s
13200 Madison Ave., Lakewood
Mahall’s has several Valentine’s Day (and anti-Valentine’s Day) events leading up to the big holiday. The venue will host a Valentine’s-themed market during the first weekend of February for folks to buy gifts for their sweethearts. The market runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Feb. 6 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 7. Then, at 8 p.m. on Feb. 12, House of Burslescle will host a special Cupid’s Cabaret show, with tickets starting at $25. Love Sucks: A Vampire-themed Valentine’s Party on Feb. 13 will be a goth and alt-rock dance party. Vampire-inspired attire is encouraged. Then, on Valentine’s Day, Love Club: An All Out 2010s Night will allow attendees to dance to love songs, heartbreak anthems and everything in between.
Cowgirl Cupid at Jolene’s

After a successful run with its Christmas holiday pop-up bar, Jolene’s Honky Tonk has transformed into Cowgirl Cupid, a decked-out Valentine’s Day rooftop pop-up experience through Feb. 16. Themed cocktails, a nightly rooftop DJ, special merchandise and plenty of photo ops are a part of the experience.
Galentine’s Day at Great Lakes Brewing Company

Great Lakes Brewing Company will host a Galentine’s Day celebration in its Tasting Room, kicking off at 6 p.m. on Feb. 7. DJ Guilty Pleasures will soundtrack the evening featuring shopping from local vendors. Iron Door Tattoo will offer flash tattoos, Glossy Nails will be giving express manicures and Sassy Zaps will offer permanent jewelry. Food and a cash bar featuring festive cocktails are available for purchase. Tickets are $10.
Screw Factory Valentine’s Art Market

The Screw Factory is hosting its inaugural Valentine’s Day art market the weekend before the holiday. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 7, the market will feature resident and visiting artists selling a wide variety of treats perfect for gifting. Admission and parking are free.
Love + Hot Dogs at Flight Cleveland

Flight Cleveland is keeping its quirky Valentine’s Day tradition alive by hosting FrankieLynn and Voyager Beverage for a night of hot dogs and wine, starting at 6 p.m. on Feb. 13. A curated flight of wines will be available alongside Flight’s extensive offerings, while FrankieLynn will be slinging its signature Cleveland-style hot dogs. Reservations are not required.
Hot Dog Lover Girl Valentine’s Day at Old 86

Speaking of hot dogs, FrankieLynn will make its way to Old 86 at 10 p.m. on Feb. 14 for another hot dog-themed love fest. DJ Yomi will set the mood with tunes at the bar for a no-frills Valentine’s Day celebration.
Valentine’s Day cooking classes at Loretta Paganini School of Cooking

The Loretta Paganini School of Cooking is always hosting a wide variety of cooking classes to suit any and all interests, including some Valentine’s Day-themed events this February. Festive classes include “Make & Take” events featuring Valentine truffles and a cupcake bouquet. That’s A-Moray at Greater Cleveland Aquarium

The Greater Cleveland Aquarium embraces the love theme during Valentine’s Day week. From Feb. 7 through Feb. 15, the aquarium’s That’s A-Moray experience includes a romance-themed “I Spy” challenge, animal courtship facts, cards and mood music. Additionally, the aquarium stays open late on Feb. 13 and 14, featuring a cash bar, making it a perfect, unconventional date night.
Six Courses of Comedy at Heart of Gold
4133 Lorain Ave., Cleveland
Heart of Gold is hosting an unconventional dinner with Secret Society Comedy that pairs comedians with courses. The 1920s-themed event is set for 7 p.m. on Feb. 13. Six comedians will perform a set while the audience enjoys an accompanying course and cocktail pairing. Tickets are $140 for the six-course dinner and comedy show. A $200 ticket includes the cocktail pairing while individual cocktail pairings are $15 each.
