Has anyone has these? I have a Costco membership but thinking of getting a Sam’s Club one as well they have what they say is 100% grass fed and finished beef from Australia and at $14.93 a pound for these NYs that price seems extremely good. They also have ribeyes and 85/15 ground. I was wondering if anyone has had these and can speak on quality? Or possibly know what sourcing they use? The fact that pricing isn’t that different from the conventional choice in my area it makes me a little skeptical

Have not tried the imported strip steaks but this is the best marbling I have seen. The top sirloins are not great because of the cut. The filets might be good
Sam’s meat is why I shop there.
I buy these now and then very good price for grass-fed. They’re also very tasty but I don’t generally buy strip steak but this has been my default strip steak since these arrived.
I’ve heard the lower price is due to not being USDA certified.
My boss regularly gets grass fed halal tritips from Costco business and they run about $6/lb. Where as usda choice tritip is closer to $11/lb
They taste funny, idk how to describe it best, maybe like the one ladies husband said liver.
I’ve tried these & the filets, same thing. I won’t be getting them again.
I was reluctant on these bc they were butchered and packaged then brought to the store. But being members mark I gave it a go. Just as good imo as the steak cut in house. Lower price per lb, and good marbling. Have noticed them getting smaller in size in the past few weeks but staying the same price.
