Simple Meatloaf Recipe. My friends we couldn’t make it to the campground this week simply due to weather issues. The temperatures have been in the single digits and the wind chill factor down to -20 degrees below zero. So I thought I would take this time to share with you my simple meatloaf recipe so we can enjoy some nice comfort food, with 12 inches of snow on the ground and counting.

I agree I live in Pennsylvania this week just the low temps alone no wind is -5 to -15 no the winds are from 15 to 40 mph dont blame u stay inside

Man you make meatloaf like I do. I don't put garlic powder or onions in it though. I put in a fair amount of pepper though. I also use BBQ sauce for making manwhiches. I work as a security guard on the weekends. And I have a Gas One one burner butane stove and make the manwhiches while at work. Love me some comfort food. Here in Rockford Illinois we haven't had the really big snow storms, but we've had -35° weather.
Glad you decided to stay in, those temperatures are a weeeeee bit ridiculous for camping. Especially, if Red's not 4×4.

Another good one 5 Bites, a slice of your meatloaf on the excellent sourdough I make would be good. I like a couple pieces of good bacon across the top of a meatloaf, adds a lil something to it. Stay warm buddy see you on the next one 👍
Talking about smells i think it's hard to beat bacon or coffee. Up here where i am in Indiana we had about 7 inches. I'm over the cold I'll tell you that! Glad your safe. Fare well my friend!

In my part of the world, everyone who owns a pickup has a four wheel drive. You just don’t see two wheel drive trucks here. It is worth the extra cost. 😊

for the loaf pans use parchment paper to line the pan, when done cooking meatloaf just turn pan upside down and comes right out

Hey Dale glad you are safe and warm we are ok down here just got a lot of rain this weekend but it is cold here now and going to be even colder this coming weekend. That meatloaf looked really good it isn't my favorite food but I can eat it sometimes. I had a weird question lol what do you usually keep your thermostat on during the winter and summer and do you have central heat or use space heaters? I'm trying to figure out a way to lower my bill we have central heat and air but our heat is an electric resistance furnace with heat strips only. I do have 2 of these nice electric Eden Pure space heaters that do good I thought about using them again but not sure. We are dripping our faucets and I'll have to use the heat tonight cause our pipes are under our house we live in a nice 16 by 80 2 bathroom 3 bedroom mobile home but my pipes are up above the insulation and vapor barrier and our duct work runs underneath so they should be fine. Sorry for the long post lol stay safe and warm.

We loved the home cooking video and yeah, you can't go wrong with meatloaf. For one version, we use bbq sauce and chopped sweet pickles then smoke it.😋 It may sound crazy but we're a little jealous of you out east. Here in Utah, we're in a chronic drought situation that doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.
Put parchment paper in the loaf pan. Then put the meatloaf on top. Easy removal
Glad you're safe and warm at home! Here, northwest of Chicago, near the WI border, we didn't get much snow, but we sure did get the cold! I love a good meatloaf!
