Côte Brasserie has launched a special Valentin’s menu with the most perfect partner – Love Heart Sweets.
The iconic sweets, Love Hearts, have long been the shorthand of romance carrying endearing messages such as ‘I Love you’, Be Mine’ and ‘True Love’.
From February 9-15, they will take centre stage on the brasserie’s Valentine’s menu.
The brasserie’s special menu will celebrate indulgent sharers, classic French cooking and a playful nod to nostalgia – because the best kind of love is meant to be shared.
At the heart of the menu is the much-loved sharing Côte de Boeuf – served on the bone, dry-aged for 30 days in Côte’s Himalayan salt chamber, and paired with free-flowing frites and truffle hollandaise.
For dessert, executive chef Steve Allen, formerly of Claridge’s and Gordon Ramsay, has created a Valentine’s sharing mousse inspired by the unmistakable charm of Love Hearts.
Silky white chocolate is layered with freeze-dried raspberry and passion fruit, finished with Love Heart sweets to scatter, crumble and enjoy – bringing a sense of childhood joy to a grown-up table.
A bespoke Valentine’s cocktail completes the experience, blending Lillet apéritif with orange blossom and freeze-dried raspberries for a floral, softly romantic finish.
Nostalgia plays a powerful role in how we eat – one third of people in the UK say sweets remind them of childhood. Côte Brasserie’s Valentine’s menu celebrates that emotional connection, pairing familiar flavours with elevated technique.
For those dining-in on the 14th itself, a special set menu will be available from 5pm across all brasseries*, priced at £32.50 for two courses or £37.50 for three.
Guests can enjoy Côte classics such as the iconic French Onion Soup (on the menu since 2007), butcher’s cut steak frites, and a curated French cheese selection, alongside the exclusive Valentine’s specials.
For couples choosing a night in, Côte at Home offers limited-edition Valentine’s boxes, available for delivery between February 11-14.
Choose from the Valentine’s Chateaubriand Box (from £59.95) or Valentine’s Confit Duck Box (from £44.95), each including a luxurious starter, either creamy baked Camembert or king prawns with Café de Paris butter, followed by your choice of tender Chateaubriand or indulgent confit duck, both served with all the trimmings.
Dessert options include Côte’s exclusive Valentine’s mousse with Love Hearts, petit beurre biscuits and dried berries, or the much-loved crème caramel with madeleines and salted caramel sauce.
Côte Brasserie’s Valentine’s tables were among the most sought-after last year, and with Valentine’s Day falling on a Saturday, demand is expected to be even higher. The at-home boxes sell out every year, making this one celebration not to leave to the last minute.
