    My method: braise veg and steak, steam cabbage in pan. Throw everything together into a pot and simmer. I tried to emulate the way typical Caldo de Res looks which has large chunks of corn on the cob floating in the soup. I settled for little chunks, easier to eat.
    correction in recipe text, it’s not Russet potato, it’s little red potatoes. Same weight though.
