Via Emilia by Food Roots launched its third eatery on All Saints Road on January 28.
The restaurant offers diners a chance to enjoy the culinary delights of Emilia Romagna, known as the food basket of Italy and the birthplace of fresh egg pasta.
The menu features nine hand-made pasta dishes, each from a different area of Emilia Romagna, and titled in their original Emilian dialect.
Each dish is prepared according to a traditional family recipe, promising an authentic taste of the famed Northern Italian food region and boasting perfect pasta-sauce pairings.
Via Emilia also offers its unique Gnocco Fritto, a traditional fried bread unique in London, served with Emilian meats and cheeses.
All dishes can be accompanied by a selection of Emilian wines, including Sangiovese and Lambrusco, served traditionally in ceramic bowls.
Via Emilia’s new location can accommodate up to 46 guests and offers a natural, chic space designed in partnership with Lee Pollock from Lifeforms Design, with a palette of light brown and cream and street lined windows to ensure plenty of natural light.
Via Emilia, with sister establishments in Fitzrovia and Shoreditch, has been serving the public since 2012.
The restaurant prides itself on its unwavering commitment to providing a genuine taste of Emilia Romagna.
As part of Notting Hill’s burgeoning food scene, Via Emilia brings the same level of service and taste that diners have come to expect.
