Went down a rabbit hole and decided to start investing in the coffee I drink. Took some recs and this is what I pulled.

  1. Investing in coffee? That’s a new one. You’ll be able to drink them all before the beans go stale?

  2. I hope you know that the shelf life of specialty coffee is usually about 2-3 months.

After that it is still drinkable, but the quality will gradually start to degrade.

Maybe you actually are going to drink around 3 kg of cofee in a couple months?

This made me think of question I have been wanting to post. I get two or three bags of coffee during Christmas from family members and / or friends. Can I put a bag in the freezer to help preserve freshness while brewing the other bag? Or do I gain anything by doing it?

  4. Buy coffe from Guatemala. It has the most variety and body.

Atomic is a local one for me. It’s solid, I’m currently drinking their single origin Honduras and I’ve never been disappointed with any of their varieties!

Nice haul bro. That amount would work for me. Mainly because I have a wife and sometimes others here who also drink coffee.

Not sure why all the judgy comments about how much you bought. Are people responding here who are living in mommy’s basement buying just enough coffee for them and them alone for a month? lol
