Hi! I've looked at other posts here, websites, etc. for help but have a kind of specific situation here that I'd love some input on. I've been seeing/dating this girl for 2 months at this point, so Valentines day will put us at 3 months. Even if we're not "official" by then, I think it's nice to do something nice, and we're both big foodies. I'd love to find a good spot in lower Manhattan or BK that feels like a little bit of an occasion but isn't anything crazy. We're both recent grads, so I'm hoping to find something in the $75pp area (or less, of course). So maybe if you're 30 this is a place you'd go to for a regular date night. She is also pescatarian – no need for a "seafood place," but I obviously don't want to restrict us too with a super meat-forward menu (we'll share). Ideally looking for something more modern and fun as opposed to rustic italian vibes – Shukette, for example, could've worked, but I just went (decent but def didn't blow my mind for anyone wondering).

I've been looking at Huda. Maybe I Cavallini but doesn't seem that special. Traif has been recommended to me before, but I've eliminated it because of the meat. Another idea could be to do this early and catch the end of restaurant week on the 12th, but are any of those places you'd actually go to normally?

I appreciate any input you have – I know this is a kind of specific ask. :))

Cervos, Sailor, Diner, I always love a pizza party, somewhere like F&F or Leo/Ops could be cute. Eel bar but they might be doing something more expensive.

Park Avenue tAvern is like elevated bar food, or parker and quinn has live jazz that night. personally, i prefer a movie at alamo drafthouse and turning in early
