I know it’s not exactly a hot sauce but it’s from a well liked hot sauce brand and I figured many would be interested like I was and this salsa sucks. 100% a don’t buy. Artificial weird taste.

Good to know. I would’ve given it a try.

I can barely think of a good canned (cooked) salsa. Just make your own, it’s super easy and once you get it right you’ll never need to buy it again.

Bought it once. Ruined some burritos with it. I still ate them, but I threw the rest of this garbage away.

It’s soooo bad.

Look, someone else here already said it, but maybe people need to hear this: even the very best jarred salsa is still just a shitty jarred salsa.
I’m pretty lazy these days, and even my lazy ass can slap together a really good fresh salsa in minutes that blows any of this shit very far out of the water.
Do you know why they don’t sell pre made salsa at the Mexican grocery store?
Because nobody would buy that shit! The Mexicans know what’s up.

Damnit. Bought some last week and haven’t tried it yet.

My main gripe about it is just that it was way too salty. I don’t recall it having a weird taste, but I was chugging water like all afternoon afterward.

There are better salsas out there, but I do still kinda like this one. The Verde is nice too

I tried their salsa macha recently and it was actually pretty good

Yeah, I grabbed a jar years ago and this shit was terrible. I honestly can’t figure out how stuff like this makes it out of the test phase. I can’t imagine anyone tested this and went “yeah, this is a good salsa with a signature cholula flavor!” because it’s neither of those.

I like it. 👍

I tried all of them and disliked all of them unfortunately, Mrs. Renfro’s Habanero still holds the top tier store bought salsa for me.

The chipotle one is vile. I bet you could use it for battery acid it was to acrid.

Their chili crisp is pretty good. A little weird, but good.
