Think luxe dishes, bottles of bubbly, super-sweet desserts and more. Whether you’re a couple who loves to go glam with an ultra-fancy meal or you just want to toast with your best girlfriends, you’ll find a delicious way to celebrate this year.
Here are some of the Milwaukee-area restaurants with special Valentine’s Day menus. Remember, prices listed don’t include tax or gratuity, and you’ll want to make reservations well ahead of time to secure your seat.
Bacchus – A Bartolotta Restaurant
Bacchus, 925 E. Wells St., will offer a three-course menu on Feb. 13 and 14. Each guest will receive a complimentary amuse bouche followed by an option of dishes such as duck dumplings, lobster bisque, lobster tail pappardelle, Wagyu short rib, mushroom risotto, champagne mousse, chestnut pavlova, passion fruit tartlet and more. A la carte caviar service is also available.

Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro
The east-side French restaurant at 3133 E. Newberry Blvd. will offer a three-course menu from Feb. 13 to 15. The menu includes dishes such as poached jumbo shrimp cocktail, fried soft-boiled egg with mushrooms and frisee lettuce, mousseline-stuffed chicken breast in white wine cream sauce, honey and mustard crusted lamb rack, whole stuffed Maine lobster with bechamel sauce and Dijon mustard, profiteroles with vanilla diplomat cream, and crème brûlée with Illy espresso custard.

Braise
This Walker’s Point restaurant at 1101 S. Second St. is hosting a multiday Valentine’s Day celebration, serving a three-course prix fixe menu from Feb. 11 to Feb. 14. Dishes includes seared sea scallops with charred leek spoon bread and romesco sauce, grilled prawns with rutabaga puree and mole negro vinaigrette, braised short ribs with herb gnocchi and chorizo, mixed berry entremet with pistachio crumble, and milk chocolate pot de crème.
Cost: The three-course dinner is $65 per person with optional wine pairings available.

CAVAS
On Feb. 13 and 14, CAVAS, 401 E. Erie St., will offer a five-course dinner menu to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Courses include lobster salad with red potatoes and sweet corn, butternut squash shrimp with cheese bread, fresh oysters with passion fruit dressing, pistachio-crusted New Zealand lamb cutlets, and raspberry panna cotta with chocolate-dipped strawberry. A welcome French 75 cocktail and a bottle of cava wine is included. Seatings are available at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and 4 and 9 p.m. Feb. 14.

The Commodore – A Bartolotta Restaurant
The Lake Country restaurant at 1807 Nagawicka Road will offer a three-course menu Feb. 13-15, with dishes including butternut squash and lemongrass soup, Georges Bank sea scallops, lobster thermidor, beef Wellington for two, double lamb chops, black truffle ravioli, lemon-raspberry parfait, crème brûlée and more.

Harbor House
Seafood lovers can make Valentine’s Day special at Harbor House, 550 N. Harbor Drive. From Feb. 13 to Feb. 15, the lakeside restaurant will offer a three-course menu with dishes such as baked oysters with warm champagne cream and Ossetra caviar, lobster ravioli, black truffle burrata, steamed South African lobster tails, seafood pappardelle, New York strip steak with smashed fingerling potatoes, Door County cherry crumble, and carrot cake.

Lupi & Iris, 777 N. Van Buren St., will offer a special three-course menu Feb. 13 and 14. Multiple options are included with each course, including wood-grilled Spanish octopus salad with romesco sauce, beef tartare with aioli and capers, Dover sole, wood-grilled swordfish, grilled Maine lobster, red-wine-braised beef short rib with creamy polenta, raspberry semifreddo, banana rum sundae, and pot de crème.

Mason Street Grill
Combine food curiosity with a culinary history lesson at Mason Street Grill’s special Valentine’s Day event, “The Aphrodisiac Affair.” At 11 a.m. Feb. 14, guests can discover why oysters and caviar have long been celebrated as premier aphrodisiacs through a guided tasting of premium varieties. From mastering the art of the shuck to exploring delicate sensory profiles, enjoy curated romantic pairings including crisp rosé bubbles, mignonettes and seasonal accompaniments.

From Feb. 13 to Feb. 15, this downtown Milwaukee steakhouse will serve an elevated, three-course prix fixe menu alongside its full a la carte selections. Dishes include seafood bisque, classic Caesar salad, 7-ounce filet with lobster tail, 18-ounce prime rib, Hawaiian sea bass, flourless chocolate torte and rose panna cotta.

Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel
Ahead of Valentine’s Day, The Dark Room, the private dining space at the Saint Kate Hotel, 139 E. Kilbourn Ave., is hosting its Love & Omakase dinner. On Jan. 12, sushi chef Tou Vang will serve a 14-course omakase-style menu of sushi and more luxe dishes, prepared and presented before guests’ eyes. With one seating at 6 p.m., tickets are limited; pricing starts at $155 per person.
On Feb. 13 and 14, The Dark Room will serve a four-course dinner by Executive Chef Heskeith Flavien. Dishes include steamed oysters, spicy tuna cannoli, Nova Scotia lobster, roasted beet salad, red snapper, lamb loin and double chocolate cake. Expertly selected drink pairings are included with each course. The four-course menu is $175 per person.

Sanford
East-side fine-dining stalwart Sanford, 1547 N. Jackson St., will serve a special four-course menu on Feb. 14, with guests choosing their appetizer, entrée and dessert, with a chef-chosen soup as the second course.
The menu is still be finalized, but last year’s menu included dishes like poached oysters with papaya mignonette and mint cream, seared pear and Roquefort tart, citrus-seared swordfish, spice-dusted sea scallops, ramen with roasted pork belly and tea egg, seared duck breast, black tea cake with citrus marmalade, tart cherry clafoutis, lemon yogurt cake with strawberry rhubarb preserve and more.
Cost: The four-course menu starts at $120 per person. Optional wine pairings are available for $55 per person.

The Wolf
The Wolf, the nighttime weekend dinner concept at Uncle Wolfie’s downtown, 600 N. Broadway, will serve a four-course prix fixe Valentine’s Day dinner on Feb. 14. Dishes include tom kha goong shumai dumplings in coconut broth, steak satay, hat yai chicken thigh with coconut rice and pineapple sweet chili, and pandan cheesecake with coconut graham cracker crumble and guava gelée.
Cost: The four-course dinner is $75 per person with additional beverage pairings available.

Tre Rivali
This Third Ward restaurant inside the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel, 200 N. Broadway, is hosting two Valentine’s Day specials: a Galentine’s Day celebration for friends and a more romantic dinner add-on package designed for couples.
The restaurant’s popular “Girl Dinner” is back this year on Feb. 13, with two ways to celebrate. The Grand Mezze dinner is designed for three or more, with a massive Mediterranean spread (hummus, falafel, muhammara and more) paired with a bottle of Prosecco ($140). A pair of besties would love the Duo Dinner, a curated cheese and charcuterie board served with Prosecco ($65).
From Feb. 12 to Feb. 14, Tre Rivali will offer a Valentine’s upgrade option available for any meal. It includes a bottle of Avissi bubbles served at the top of service and a flight of six handcrafted truffles at the end of service ($65).

Uncle Wolfie’s
The Brewers Hill breakfast tavern at 234 E. Vine St. is hosting a special pasta dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. on Valentine’s Day. Guests can drop in at the cozy, casual spot for a la carte house-made pasta, desserts and chocolate-covered strawberries. Reservations are available for table service and walk-ins are accepted at the bar.
