Picked this up today and it’s unlike any hot sauce I’ve ever had. Miso paste, koji, Japanese seven spice? Wild stuff, man.

The nutty, umami-heavy flavors come through beautifully right up front, while the heat is a slow builder that didn’t get quite as hot as I was hoping for considering the peppers used, but hot enough to get a decent burn going.

This stuff would absolutely slap on a miso steak or in some mayo with miso and lemon juice. Or on most any savory dish, really.

Definitely worth trying a bottle for those looking for something off the beaten path of hot sauces, and if you see a bottle of Bravado’s black garlic sauce go ahead and grab that as well. 8/10.

Just had a bottle delivered yesterday. Can’t wait to try it.

I’ve been making a miso hot sauce for years but I’d love to try this one to compare.

Their black garlic reaper sauce is incredibly well balanced between crazy flavor and crazy heat. You generally can’t go wrong with bravado

  4. One of my mainstays. Love it with some fried rice.

What do you pair with this? I’ve seen it before but was worried I wouldn’t know what to use it with

I thought this stuff was very hot. Hotter than I expected. I must be a baby.

Haven’t had this sauce but I’ve made salmon coated/marinated in miso, mayo, and hot sauce.. really tasty. Bet this would be great

This stuff goes so well with Asian dishes. Rice, ramen, sushi, etc.
