I have a projector but I feel like every time I used it I get so shaky 😩😩 idk how to get better, my pressure piping is horrible. Just any tips you all can give me to get better. July will make a year since i first decorated a cookie and I have since did like 6 sets. I really do enjoy doing this but I hate feeling like I’m not putting out the best work. Are you using a piping tip?
Best practice is to use the tipless bags from Amazon. Any cheap brand will do. You have to cut across the seam as it’s centered. I think your application could use some tweaking as well. If you can watch a few decorating tiktoks, you’ll see the method of touching a dot down, pulling up, and then essentially squeezing while not touching the cookie. It works wonders for clean lines!

One thing that I’ve done that has helped my lettering not look jagged/bumpy is printing out a few practice sheets, and just practicing my lettering in the evenings. It seems tedious, but it’s amazing how quickly you improve if you just continue doing the same thing over and over again in a short period of time. You’ll get there! (I’m certainly not there yet, but one day we will both be able to do lettering!)
