Man, thank god for Costco. Full disclosure- I’ve never met a Chablis I didn’t like. I credit the Kirkland Chablis with the intro. IYKYK.

Quintessential Chablis.

Nose: flinty chalk and earthy honeysuckle

Palate: green apple dipped in honey

Finish: concrete, sweet and slightly astringent (hey, it’s $22, it can’t be perfect)

Wish I had acres of cellar space to stock up on cases.

This Chablis Premier Cru is the first Costco wine I opened and drank (I got a bunch of the Barolo to age too). It didn’t disappoint (but, while I enjoy wine, I’ve never really dived deep into studying wine, and I don’t even frequent this sub haha). Given the price, I wish I had bought more than 5 bottles!

I hate to ride Costco’s dick all the time, but for $22, Chablis seldom gets better than this. Sorry yall

How acidic is this? 2023 was warmer vintage in Chablis and most of the ones I tried are more Chardonnay (Cote de Beaune) than a true Chablis, I hope you understand what I mean. So wondering how acidic this one was?
