Hey guys! I started my peppers mid January (I know, super early) and found that I had pretty good success with them. I also have four that sprouted in a milk jug. I have room in my home to keep indoors until it’s safe to transplant, but I’m wondering, should I transfer these babies to a bigger pot? How many can I put together in one large terra cotta pot? Also, are they looking okay so far? This is my first time growing peppers, really first time growing anything lol. I have Datil, jalapeno, cayenne, Carolina reaper, and King of the North in here.

I’d wait until they are starting their second set of true leaves at the earliest. If you only have 1 per cell then there’s absolutely no rush. Your seedlings look great!

I have the same rack! I took the lights from my starter kits and added them in as well. ( I have post on how mine look, and a link to YouTube explaining the set up!)

OP welcome to the world of peppers, it’s easy to get addicted to the process of it all and the success. Just my observation so take it with a grain of salt. I grew 80 plants last year and over wintered 30-32 and I have about 80-90 two inch seedlings now. At this moment, some of your peppers look a tad bit “leggy” not all of them but some. This is a lighting issue which I’m assuming you have thought about already. No big deal just move the light or the plants a few inches closer and that should do the trick. As for up-potting, the post above is correct, one more set of true leaves is an okay time to do that. I use solo cup method and water from the bottom which they should be able to stay in for a while and I’ll post a pick of what I mean. They look good but might need some more light or different type of light and it could also just be the picture and not actually “leggy”. In any case good job and getting that many to germinate. One other thing, I don’t fertilize with anything until I see the third leaf popping and even then it’s a liquid 1-1-1 and only once a month and I think the ratio is 1 tsp to a gallon which I usually dilute into 1.5 to 2.0 gallons just so I don’t shock them. Good luck and great job

Check out Gary Pilarchick, Kang Starr, or the MI Gardener on YouTube (spellings night be off). They have awesome videos that share advice on everything from starting to harvesting and overwintering. That’s how I learned!
