  1. 2 things

A country’s leader does not define its people, especially when half of them disagree and the half who got their way was lied to with promises of economic gain. And colonialism isn’t something to be joked about, or made light of as it undermines the impact of real colonialism in history. In 1894 a British man living in India would write the ‘jungle book’ and just 5 years later he would write a long poem called ‘The White Man’s Burden’ in which he wrote in an effort to convince Americans that they should not give newly acquired lands from the Spanish American War self governance. We don’t have a clean conscious either, but it’s best not to make these jokes at the expense of those who’ve been oppressed.

  2. Finally some who realises good Britain cuisine (other than bangers and mash) is not actually British, carrying one the tradition.

  3. Jealousy tinged with bitterness
There's nothing in British culinary failures Americans would want to claim as ours

  4. I know some of those silver cylinders also have an English flag on them. I don't know what alien technology they aren't telling us about but they are definitely the classic sigar UFOs.
