Starter is 2 weeks old but was going strong so decided to give it a shot.

Broke my hand last week and the stretch and folds were a challenge, so my wife stepped in and did a great job! I did manage to get the final shaping done with one hand at midnight, then into the fridge for 12 hours. Baked covered at 450 for 30 minutes then uncovered for 15 more minutes at 410. Turned out great and my wife said it was rhe best she has had.

It looks so good! It’s funny how we followed almost exactly the same recipe – well the same ingredients at least, and yet our breads came out so different. I’ve posted mine earlier today.

It’s just so interesting what two different starters can do to the bread.

The world of sourdough amazes me!

Keep up the good work and good luck with the hand 🤗

I’m trying to make my own starter too, I’m not sure if it’s strong enough! Did yours tripled in size? Someone told me it needs to triple, mine has been doubling for 4 days… not sure if I can already bake with it
