HUNTINGTON, W.V.a. (WCHS) — Huntington’s New Life Church in Huntington hosted a food giveaway Monday in conjunction with Facing Hunger Foodbank.
Two truckloads of food – including chicken, fruit, vegetables and milk – were distributed by volunteers.
The effort is expected to feed about 350 families in the area.
Facing Hunger facilitates mobile food pantries multiple times per week while New Life organizes giveaways every other month.
