Would consider the Searwood over a Smoque.

I’m just following because this is my price range

Im team Recteq. So, get the Recteq

Personally, I’d look for a used Recteq RR-590 or RT-700, but I’m definitely in the Recteq camp.

it’s $900 rn but the weber searwood is amazing, just got it after a lot of research on this sub and I have no regrets

Recteq by a million and it’s not even close.

**FWIW** I had the first gen Patio legend and it was a beat in its own. The second Gen looks great, their customer service is absolutely amazing, and even their “more affordable models” are rock solid. I have a Deck Boss 800 (899.99 with their 100.00 off promo right now BTW).

Come back and thank me in a few weeks.

Grilla is a better bang for your buck, I paid $799 for a RecTeq deck boss 800 a month ago and I love it but I wouldn’t pay that price for a smoker half the size.

For that price point, get a grilla grills silverback. Pretty sure they have some really great deals right now. If you’re willing to spend more, a Campchef woodwind pro. Best pellet grill on the market

Honestly I’d be looking for deals in store instead of on the apps. My local Home Depot had the smaller size Traeger’s for $299 today.

Traeger 885. They are a tank and out perform all other brands on ACTUAL quality. So many brands focus on bs attributes of quality. Sad to see folks fall for it.

I have many cooks on a Recteq, they were all amazing. My Nextgril just died and We decided to get one for ourselves. The amount of temp control on the Recteq is amazing.

Extremely happy with my Camp Chef XXL Pro vertical smoker. Half the size and double the internal space plus extra smoke options. It’s never failed me

I got the Searwood. Cant recommend enough. I bought mine at Lowes by opening their credit card to get it discounted. Out the door $776.

Recteq without reservation. I originally had a traeger for many years, then cheaped out and replaced it with with a Pitboss when the traeger died, which was a huge mistake. The Pitboss never stayed on temp and would stall mid cook on lower temps. I finally got rid of the Pitboss and bought a Recteq. The Recteq is well engineered with rear even smoke venting, large iron shield above the fire pot, and a great controller. The temperature control on the Recteq is dead accurate and the best I have seen. The price is more than reasonable for the quality and performance. Buy it, you won’t regret it. No, I don’t work for Recteq, I just love the product.

Got a Reqtec for Christmas. I love it. Their customer service is elite as well.

I just got the Patio Legend 400, love it so far. The wheels are heavy duty and wheeling it in/out of garage is a breeze. If you sign up for their notifications you get $100 off – if you get the 400 just add $100 of stuff like pellets to cart and you’ll get it for “free” since promo code requires $800 min

Recteq wins by a landslide in this thread.
