Seeing a used performer deluxe listed, wanted some advice on what price I should aim for. The seller is asking for $300

I’d offer $250 at most probably, depending on how close it is. the grate is pretty crusty and those are around $60.

I would try to knock off some, maybe like 100 at minimum because of two things: it needs a new grate and that’s going to cost like 35-50 bucks. Also, it looks like the lid handle is bent, which is just an inconvenience for me. Overall looks to be a great looking performer

does the gas starter still work? The fact that there’s a canister screwed in makes me think yes? Looks like it would be a decent deal.

I paid $200 for mine a few years ago. Mine didn’t have the timer or baskets, and it isn’t that cool copper color. But I don’t use the timer or the baskets.

Check Lowe’s and Home Depot. Lots of clearance pricing on items.

Always start low, I’d say 160, work your way up to 200

I got mine for $175 and I really wanted to pay only $125-150. It was in really great shape and didn’t have rusted grates and a scratched up table like this one plus it came with the cast iron insert. I didn’t want to let it slip away so I paid and I’m glad I did. With this said I would only offer $100 and only go as high as $125-150. And make sure the ash catcher/cleaner works properly since you can’t tell by these photos.

I paid $250 for the same model listed on Marketplace a few months ago. I would offer $200 based on the grates needing to be replaced. Test the ignition system and drop your offer another $50 if it’s not working well. It’s an easy DIY repair if needed, but a new igniter costs around $40-$50.

150 at most for me.

Paid $140 for my first copper performer.

100 but depending on your area and other prices maybe 150.

I picked up mine for $100. But it was the older model with the fiberglass table.
$300 is on the high end but not unreasonable for a Performer Deluxe in good condition. New, they run $500-600, so you’re saving $200-300 which is fair.
