My sweet 100 cherry tomato plant has been sitting in the hallway for a week or so now due to the cold. I lug it back and forth between my porch so it can get some sun but I was told to not have it out under 45°. Are there any other options? I hate lugging it back and forth because the pot weighs like 30lbs. It hasn't been fruiting because of the lack of sun sadly. I was pulling 10ish tomatoes off this baby every week!! It will thankfully get warmer next week but is the nighttime cold too cold??

I just can’t believe how cold it is in Florida right now, and I’m so sorry.

I was stationed in Florida many years ago, and I planted a tomato in my yard, and the rain-soaked so bad that my tomatoes drowned.

And once they finally got fruit, they all split open 1 day after a crazy rainstorm.

So yeah , gardening in Florida is tough.

Advicr: Try not to overwater it. Just be nice to it. Don’t forget to talk to it. The more sonic gets the better. Can you get like a mini greenhouse for it?

If it doesn’t make it & you get really frustrated and you can’t find the tomato plant that you want at your local nursery, give us a call , we do ship plants to your area.
