Was talking to my dad about buldak, and he sent me this. I kind of vaguely recall this being really spicy when I was a kid, but haven't had it in over a decade. How is it?

It’s nowhere near Buldak levels of spicy but I would argue, and I’m probably against most people when I say this, it has a better flavor than any of the Buldak flavors I have had.

I found the flavour too mild, but the bounciness/texture of the noodle is out of this world. I’ve been using the noodle to make garlic chili oil noodles and it’s excellent.

Nowhere near Buldak on hotness. Flavor isn’t bad on this one. I really like the noodles for this one.

I like the black bag nongshim. I can add my own spice. I did not enjoy buldak’s flavor at all.

This and a pack of Chapagetti together is amazing.

It’s pretty solid. The noodles have a nice chew to them and the spice level is right on. I just wish it came with more seaweed toppings. I like it better than the standard Nongshim shin ramen.

One of the best Korean Ramen I ever had.
