ROCHESTER, MI — A popular French pastry shop is opening a new shop this month in the Rochester area.
MK Cannelle will open a new location on Feb. 20 in the former Paint Creek Cider Mill spot, located along Orion Road in Rochester/Oakland Township. It will have indoor seating as well as a large patio.
The pastry shop was founded by Matti Knio and is well known for its handmade pastries and desserts, such as tarts and cakes. The shop also has a variety of croissants, baguettes and breads. The shops also serve coffee and sandwiches.
This will be MK Cannelle’s seventh shop. Other locations include Ann Arbor, Birmingham, downtown Detroit, Farmington, Keego Harbor and Northville.
