The Pâtisseries Louise origin story

Pâtisseries Louise

Pâtisseries Louise was originally founded in June 2024 as a home-based online pastry shop by couple Louise and Djim Tondoh. Both are from Côte d’Ivoire (AKA Ivory Coast), a West African Country that was colonized by France. As such, the two grew up surrounded by French culture and speak French as their first language.

Louise serves as the pastry chef and has always aspired to become a Cheffe Pâtissière. Originally self-taught, Louise would bake for her friends and family at home. She eventually went on to refine her craft through masterclasses led by world-renowned chefs. Meanwhile, Djim oversees the business operations.

The couple’s passion for fine pâtisserie-making drives every aspect of their operations. And, following the success of their online company, they’re opening their first brick-and-mortar location in Inglewood.
