So I did what most people suggested and made chili out of my brisket failure. I have to say I'm very happy. I made a texas chili(the one picture with tomatoes, more traditional), and a chili colorado. The chili colorado was my favorite, and I ate it as-is in a bowl, made wraps, and my fav was the quesadilla fried in the chili sauce.

I have to say I'm a lot less intimidated now because I would make this on purpose, let alone on accident again. Thanks for all the suggestions!

    edit: evidently this is a hot take so i’ll take it one step further, tomatoes have no place in chili beside tomato paste

    Yes! We had some ribs that ended up being a little overdone and some baked beans that ended up being underdone (don’t ask, lol) but combined them into chili and they’re delicious!
