Had no buns, English muff really adds a nice buttery taste might use them more often.

    There was a steakhouse next to my college that did their burgers on an English muffin. They claimed it made you focus on the burger more, I think it may have just been because they didn’t want to keep fresh burger buns all the time at a steakhouse.

    I kinda get what they were saying though. It’s really just something to hold the meat so it was like a steak you could eat with your hands.

    I would say an English muffin is made perfectly for smash burgers. They will hold together much better than a regular bun. Also, I would think.

    One of the best “I have no bun” substitutes.

    You gotta work on those crispy edges though – you have lots on the patty, but nothing on the muffin.

    Makes them amazing.
