it’s the first time they come out the oven like this, can someone tell me why?

You didn’t mix it enough.

The oven was too hot, they were likely under mixed as well. As for letting them dry, I don’t let mine dry hardly ever and I haven’t had a problem with volcanoes but it does absolutely depend on the air around you. Mine is very warm and dry.

Also, fill them with chocolate and call them macawrongs ❤️ still edible, just a lil funky

Macaron not dried enough, oven temperature too high or both. Dark baking tray can cause it to heat up too quickly and burst before feet grow. Feet is like a vent for hot steam to escape that’s why skin must be firm enough to stop the steam from bursting it. Think of it like a hot air balloon.

Have you baked macarons before and they went perfectly fine before? if so, it may be due to bad powdered sugar
