Steam the just egg in a springform pan for 10 minutes, add vegan cheddar or Gouda, then steam another 2 minutes

Then prepare your sandwich the way you like!

I like it with vegan bacon, ketchup mixed with gouchujan, and vegan mayo on a brioche bun

    Vegan brioche?

Also, seriously, how is the ‘just egg’ stuff? Honest opinions

If you didn’t have a steamer like the one in the clip, would the same work over a pan with water if you managed to find a springform that would fit over it?

Yum!!! I do this in the oven in a small glass tupperware. So good on Sunday mornings.

Wish we had Just Egg where I live. It looks so good! I am just grateful if I can find tofu in the grocery store…

Ive never seen that bacon anywhere. I love mybacon but it is $9.99 a pack!

How do you get the Billy Green bacon that crispy? Mine just dries up when I fry it too long😂

What’s the hack, sorry? I can’t see it in the captions.

  9. Where are you getting Just Egg in Germany? I live near hamburg and can’t find it. I recognise your other ingredients, and it all looks good!

Where’s the hack???? I DO THIS SO OFTEN🤣🤣🤣 I mean, seriously whats the difference between this and a “normal” egg sandwich aside from 0 cruelty

  11. Love just egg but can’t justify the price more than once a month as a “treat”. Also that looks like it’s at least half the carton with as thick as it is. You can get about 5-6 flatter but still delicious mini pancake sized out of on carton.

Marinated tofu is the way to go on a budget. The just egg does slap though

ketchup, burned vegetables and something that isnt new.

Fuck this try hard TikTok ass video. Make a real recipe. Comment if you want a recipe for how to make just egg at home instead of buying expensive products and reheating them

  14. Where is the hack? This just feels like cooking. Looks good though.

Excuse me, vegan Gouda? That sounds amazing!

Just Egg is the thing of the past. Try out the animal-free egg whites which are shelf stable and much more reasonable in pricing.

They have pre made egg patties that are pretty affordable. I think there is 6 in there for like 4$ or something. Still not cheap, but way cheaper than the liquid just egg and it goes way further, imo

I don’t follow this sub, and assumed i was looking at another bad post on /stupidfood. I was ready to be like “I’m not even vegan, but that sandwich looks decent.”
