I went back to the store for more Lindo Mexico hot sauces because I really liked the red habenero BUT like others stated I really don’t like the fact they use dye as ingredients.
But this one… I’ve seen people post this brand a lot. But wow I can’t believe this is mass manufactures for sale. It tastes like charcoal dust mixed with habanero.

I think this sauce is divisive for the same reason really peaty scotch is. Some people love that smokey/peaty flavor. To some it tastes like drinking watered down charcoal.
I’m a huge fan of Islay scotches, and I absolutely love the black label El Tucateco. The people I know who don’t like it also don’t like to share my scotch with me.
You gotta apply it right- I mix some into crema (or sour cream if i’m out), then slather it on some tacos
Excellent as a liquid smoke alternative for chili’s and stews.

I love the smoky flavor of that sauce. Combined with the heat, I use it in a variety of things, such as pinto beans, tacos, beef stew, chicken and dumplings, etc.
My wife hates it though lol
Yeah, I love most all of the Yucateco sauces, but I can’t stomach that one. As you say, it just tastes like charcoal.
Yeah definitely not my favorite. Tastes like spicy dirt or coffee. I’m sure it has its uses though lol

Yeah this one isn’t really great on its own. Its better in stuff as an ingredient. Try putting a tiny bit in a chili or dipping sauce.
You either really love it or really hate it. I’m the former but it was an acquired taste
I’m guessing it has its uses but I agree it’s quite nasty as is.
I don’t much care for that one but Yucateco xxxhot is one of my very favorites. The Caribbean and the green and red Habenero sauces are all super legit too. Tried the chipotle one recently and wasn’t too impressed with that though.
I love this stuff. Love their Caribbean and ghost and habanero sauce. Honorable mentions to red and green also. They’re the staples. Of course, I also like Da Bomb so….
I am always weary of black hot sauces. I always feel like they taste like they look, which is to say not appetizing.

I love it. It’s great in soups, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, fish tacos. My daughter and I enjoy the black & red el Yucateco. I keep it on hand at all times
Too smoky for me, in an ashy way, not a BBQ way. To each their own though! So many of their other sauces are fantastic so I’m plenty happy with the brand.
I’ll absolutely pass on this one all the rest of El Yuc sauces are good. This one makes my mouth feel like I took up cig smoking again.
The middle one is probably my #1
