For more than 20 years, this particular Wappingers Falls Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria has been a staple of the Hudson Valley, and even a tradition before or after baseball games at Heritage Financial Park Stadium. A recent real estate posting has locals wondering the future of this top-rated, longstanding family owned business.

Leo’s: A History Lesson

First entering the Hudson Valley pizza scene back in 1981, Leo Maniscalchi first opened the family’s Cornwall location. From there, two additional locations opened over the years, one in Newburgh (2003) and then Wappingers in 2006. Crediting the success of the restaurant to giving loyal customers what they want, great food and unmatched customer service, that is what Leo Maniscalchi and family has prided themselves on over the years.

Maniscalchi attributes his growth to great food, great service, great customers and, of course, a wonderful family. Leo’s is family-owned and operated with his sons – Danny, Gasper, and Frank – collaborating with him to create one of the most beloved local eateries.

Offering dine-in, take out, and catering, Leo’s has the standard Italian specialties like pasta, chicken, veal and seafood, and of course, a list of pizza options a mile long.

Big games bring big crowds… and big opportunities! For sale is a turnkey pizzeria-restaurant with a full bar located on busy NY 9-D in Wappinger Falls, directly across the street from Heritage Financial Park Stadium.

Proven revenue, prime location, and owner financing available makes this a serious playmaker for the right buyer.

As for what’s next for the Wappinger’s Leo’s location, nothing has been released or published to their websites or social media pages as far as future plans. We will provide additional details if/when they become available.
