Who made the time that every single wings order from every restaurant in the world must be served with checkered paper inside the to-go box?
I'm not complaining…just curious. My wings aren't complete without the checkered paper!

I eat a lot of chicken wings……. a lot! I typed chicken wings into my Google photos and I had to scroll back 3 years to find some wings that were not in checkered paper. It was a lot of pictures. It was the fake newspaper sheet.

Idk who but it was made to manage grease and provide a classic/nostalgic presentation. The paper helps keep the wings warm while being porous enough to avoid making them soggy

A big part of it is so the restaurant doesn’t have to clean plates. And a lot of those places serve wings.

I was in Vegas and the place served wings on a plate. A PLATE. Got all fancy. And these wings were average at best.

How do you make those wings on the left hand side though at home? I wish I could do it tbh.

Oh my goodness! I never realized that until just now! Which is surprising considering how often I order them.
