The actual sushi looks good and the volume of food is nuts, but I do not like each piece being pressed so closely together.
Assuming people are going to be grabbing it by hand, it means any piece I take is going to be touched by other people’s fingers.

Back about 11 years or so my partner and I used to be able to order a platter like this pretty regularly from our local sushi spot in rural Pennsylvania at least several times a month. It was about $50 and it had even more variety. I can only imagine the cost of something like this today. I miss those sushi feast nights!
