My grandma would be sad for whoever is getting this tiny portion of Borsh. Its supposed to come in a giant bowl, with many sides, and then Grandma tries to give you seconds.
Also, Grandma would question where the inside of that bread went and remind you that she didn’t live through a WW2 blockade just so you can throw good black bread away. Really, I hope that bread got used somewhere. Maybe in kotleti?
