S Wan Cafe is a local and casual joint serving some Hong Kong cafe classics and more. Nondescript and unpretentious, they’re just serving solid food at a good price.

The pork chicken chop was tender and seasoned well. Perfect with the crisp onions and white rice.

Menu photos are from 2 months ago from Google Maps.

Edit: someone rightly said this is the chicken chop, not pork chop. My bad for the mistake.

  1. i mean $10 is just a normal price for a lunch item not a “deal”

    Have you tried the sandwiches?

A turkey and cheese for $2.50 is blowing my mind!

I used to go to middle around that corner and this spot was a popular place for the kids to come after school for a snack. It was called something else back then (early 2000s) but I’m glad it’s still doing the same Hong Kong style fast food.

  7. Highly recommend their Chinese sausage fried rice. Thank me later

I’ll be checking them out next time I’m up there.

Wow I’m salivating like a poor schmuck. Am nowhere near anywhere that serves anything even remotely like this. And I’m losing my mind. I’m Asian born in New York and I left over 30 years ago and I’m paying for it

Those prices shouldn’t be out of the ordinary, but people have helped to make it that way sadly.

Are you sure that’s pork chop? It looks more like chicken. I always pass by this place without realizing it. Pork chop with onion is one of the staple favorites and this one is lacking the sauce/gravy, I prefer getting it from Big Wong when I’m in chinatown, it’s more expensive but they do it really well

This place is great especially the chicken chop! Just a heads up that it’s closed on Sunday because they observe the Sabbath.

Love their beef chow fun, nice and greasy, and their hk milk tea and coffee combo. Prices are stuck in like 2010. Great deals and lots of love.
