Went to one of the sister restaurants to Frasca (James Beard Most Oustanding 2025), Tavernetta in the Union Station complex in downtown Denver. By far some of the best service I’ve ever recieved. One of the best wine lists I’ve seen along with some outstanding grappa selections.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Anytime I am in Denver, I make it a point to stop at Tavernetta. Bobby Stuckey and his team do an outstanding job with all aspects of the restaurant.

This place can be insanely cheap too. If I lived nearby I’d swing by all the time because it’s extremely affordable for a restaurant of this caliber. You can rack up a big bill here with wine easy but you kinda pay what you want to here.

I still think about that carpaccio. Probably the best i’ve ever had.

Tavernetta is ass in my opinion. Robotic service with overpriced small portions of undercooked raw pasta. And trust me, Al Dente is the way but I’ve been served raw pasta. I do like the owner Bobby and what he represents but there are a lot better restaurants in Denver where you can get elevated food with warm professional service.
