Rate my meat 😋

I'm not bragging – Bobby told me only to eat grass fed because chemicals from grain leach into the meat and poisons me. Aldi seems like the easiest option for me. Plan on trying to find a farm and purchase sides of beef, but until now…. Here I am.

I mean. They look pretty bad. I’ve never seen so little marbling in ribeye and that’s not very cheap.

    And who’s Bobby?

  2. FlexibleDemeenor

I have never figured out how to make grass fed beef tender without destroying it with a mallet or something

  3. MarketingSafe244

Looks like pork lol nothing to brag about here anyway

  4. redcurb12

if these were the only steaks i could eat i would just not be eating steaks

  5. Yourmomsgotanass

So RFK convinced you to buy shitty beef. Sounds about right…

  6. Roll-Roll-Roll

Reasonable-very good value. $24/lb at my local grocery store yesterday, and they weren’t much better. Prices are high.

  7. charlynarly

    Yeah, little yo no marbling.
I would pound them and do a Milanese with a nice sauce.

  8. Yeah, Bobby uses a lot of scary rhetoric to make it seem like things are poisoning you. Don’t get me wrong, eating cured meat is supposed to be as bad as smoking for your body, and theres tons of other shit companies do thats bad for us consumers. But if you’re trying to get healthy, just start by adding more vegetables and protein to your diet and try to stay away or moderate yourself from shitty food you know is bad. I wouldn’t spend time worrying about the fertilizer from the wheat leeching into your meat and keeping you unhealthy.
TLDR: Do whatever you want, its your life but don’t listen to Bobby approved or those other pseudoscience guys who talk about the “TOXINS” in your food.

No where near enough fat for me to pay that much for some ribeyes

  10. Looks like Select grade. I wouldn’t pay $15 for select grade.

Asking as a newb because I’m seeing a few people say this price point is too much per pound – where do you get grass fed standard steak cuts for less than this?

I’m asking from a fairly LCOL area fwiw.

Everytime I see grass fed steak it always looks like they made the cow run track for its entire life.

Congrats on taking your health in your own hands. Don’t listen to others. Food quality absolutely matters.

  14. darkoopz43

Shame, ive seen better marbling on the inside round i cut for beef jerky

  15. Mountain_Elk_7262

People saying these are sad and they wouldn’t eat them are missing the grass fed part. This Is a healthier affordable option thats also leaner and higher in protein and micro nutrients per gram compared to a normal marbled grain fed cow steak

  16. Thatkidicarusfan

the people on here will say anything marbled less than waygu is bad, if grass fed is what you like then i say its great.

  17. GimmeLuv-69

I wouldn’t take those steaks if you paid me $14.99/lb to take them.

  18. WeLoveTacos

What’s up with all the hate? I’d buy them

  19. SignedTheMonolith

You can tell it was frozen after being cut, the meat striations look strained and spongy.

Get your nutrition information from Registered Dieticians and not grifters on the internet.

Bottom one has huge cap but could have been trimmed better..
Grass fed is fine. Haters always hating.

  22. bigdaddyaggie87

I like grain fed beef, whether it’s prime, select, whatever. It just has to look good to me. Grass food is cool but not my jam.

  23. EnvironmentalMix421

How do you know there’s no chemical in the grass. 🤣

I mean that makes absolutely no sense if you are only doing it for this reason

  24. the_vanila_gorila

Grass fed, grain finished is the way

  25. as if grass fed cows’s alfalfa just grows with just water and sunshine.

  26. Independent_Baby4517

    Grass fed.
Not grass finished. Grass finished is gross and smells and tastes like a farm. Most cattle are grass fed. Very few get Grass finished. I live in a big cattle producing state and 99% of the farmers will not grass finish cows. Most People will not eat it.
