
I was afraid of dealing with tofu due to having to squeeze out the water. I cooked it today and I shouldn’t have been afraid. Lol The tofu came out delishy. I got this recipe from CookieandKate – Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Crispy Tofu with Honey-Sesame Glaze

I used Basmati rice
So… i never squeeze out the water! I flop the tofu in the pan with a little salt and let it go on medium heat all the excess water cooks off.
Then proceed with whatever i am making adding other ingredients. I also like most tofu textures so super extra crazy firm isn’t my end goal
For five dollars you can get a tofu press on Amazon. Or purchase super firm tofu which requires less pressing.
Tofu takes a lot of practice. Try different things like flour or corn starch or tapioca starch and spices. See what you like best.
