I made this homemade smash cheeseburger with ultra-crispy edges and perfectly melted cheese.
Ingredients:
80–100g ground beef (80/20 works best)
Salt & black pepper
American cheese slices
Soft burger bun (buttered)
Optional: pickles, onion, burger sauce
Method:
Heat a cast iron skillet until very hot.
Place the beef ball on the pan and smash hard with a spatula.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cook 1–2 minutes until the edges are crispy, then flip.
Add cheese and let it melt.
Toast the bun in the same pan.
Assemble and enjoy the crunch 😍
