Ingredients:
24 oz container of button mushrooms; stems removed and set aside
1/2 a medium size onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 block of cream cheese
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 heaping spoonfuls of mayonnaise
1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley
6 oz container lump crab meat
1/3 cup panko
Topping:
1 tbsp panko
1 tbsp grated Parmesan w
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1.) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2.) Clean mushrooms with damp paper towels.
3.) Remove stems and chop finely.
4.) Heat up cooking oil and sauté onions and garlic for 1 min. Then add chopped mushroom stems. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sauté for 5 minutes or until moisture evaporates.
5.) In a mixing bowl, mix together cream cheese, mushroom mixture, grated Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, and 1 tbsp chopped parsley. Then gently mix in lump crab meat and panko.
6.) Stuff mushroom caps with filling and sprinkle topping.
7.) Bake at 375 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
